Motorsports fans all over the world hold NASCAR racing in the highest respect in regard to other racing leagues or associations. The term "NASCAR" is actually an acronym for "National Association For Stock Car Auto Racing", and was originally founded by a man named Bill France. The sport of stock car racing has grown considerably since its humble beginnings, and boasts an ever growing and loyal fan base that supports and perpetuates its existence. Due to this boom in its popularity, racing events are now held in huge arenas that seat thousands upon thousands of eager fans. Even though these arenas have the capacity to hold such large crowds, NASCAR racing events often sell out as a result of the high demand for NASCAR tickets. Upon arrival to a racing event, fans can usually purchase NASCAR tickets if the event has not already sold out. If it is sold out, however, they always have the next race to look forward to and will be likely to remember the importance of purchasing their NASCAR tickets in advance. Being in the crowd at a race and hearing the roar of the stock cars' engines as they zoom by at breakneck speeds is more than exciting, and is often such a fun experience that fans keep coming back time after time without being disappointed. With such a large and devoted demographic of fans, NASCAR tickets are often available long before the actual day of the race, giving fans plenty of time to reserve their seats in a given motor sports park. Sometimes ticket scalpers will buy large amounts of NASCAR tickets in bulk and then turn around and sell them for a profit the day of the race outside of the arena or track.
