Strangely enough, if it hadn't been for drummer Travis Barker's near-fatal airplane crash last year, his band Blink-182 wouldn't be reuniting touring this summer or workin on a new album. Rumors that the rock act could reunite after its messy split in 2005 came last year after group member Mark Hoppus posted a blog saying the recent death of Blink-182 producer Jerry Finn and Barker's survival of the plane crash brought the men back in contact. "Unfortunately it took something so catastrophic to do it, but sometimes that's how life it," Blink-182 manager Rick Devoe says. Despite injuries he suffered during the accident, Barker, whose arm was in a slint during the Grammy Awards in February, is back behind the kit and the group is currently in rehearsals.
